If you're looking for an activity that people of all ages can enjoy, reserve a plot in Vernon's Community Garden. 
The Community Gardens are located on the hill behind Vernon Center Middle School.  Plots are approximately 25'x25'. 
This provides opportunities to grow food for themselves and for donations, get to know their neighbors, learn from each other, and create a productive and beautiful community site.
There are 100 community garden plots available.
The plots are OPEN  from the 3rd week of April until the 1st week of November.
Water Pump Keys are available for a $25 deposit.
